Exams/tests (2025)

The format of the two take-home tests are as follows: Each test will consist of three questions, two shorter questions, and one longer question. Questions 1 and 2 for 30% and question 3 for 40% of the test grade. Take home test instructions. Test 1 is related to course part 2: Environmental regulation and policy instruments // Test 2 is related to course part 3: Natural resource utilization. Both tests may involve materials from part 1 of the course: risk.

Allowed tools on the tests:
- Allowed: all books, notes, web resources, not necessary to give references
- Allowed with restrictions: AI tools. A student using AI need to state the tool and the search words used (cfr. NMBU's AI restrictions, ch. 4) with the following costs:
    - The assessed score is reduced by 40% (f.ex. if a student gets 7 points on a question, the score is adjusted to 4.2)
    - Unreported and detected use of AI results in the score 0. Repeated unreported use will be reported as cheating.
